The beVisoneers program
The project you would be working on at The DO School Fellowships is beVisioneers – a global environmental Fellowship which starts with a 12-month hybrid-learning program that equips innovators aged 16 to 28 with the training, expert support and resources to bring their planet-positive projects to life. Upon completing the intensive 12-month program, Fellows continue to receive support to scale their projects and develop their leadership skills.
About the role
In this role, you will design and deliver scalable learning solutions for the fellowship, aligning content with milestones and fellows’ needs. Collaborating with subject matter experts, you’ll create and refine online modules, create frameworks, templates, and facilitation guides for workshops, and build tools while ensuring consistency and practical application. Your work will empower fellows to develop skills and scale their impact.
You will own…
- Design scalable Year 1-3 learning solutions with the Learning Experience Quality Lead and program team.
- Enhance content using diverse instructional design frameworks and learning science principles.
- Establish a system to track updates and maintain program documentation.
- Collaborate with Venture Coaches and experts to align and refine content for accuracy and relevance.
- Create facilitation guides and training resources for effective live sessions and workshops.
- Develop a framework mapping skills and competencies to project milestones, supporting fellows’ progress.
- Design templates and layouts for consistent learning experiences across Years 1–3.

- Coordinate content redesign and iterative improvements based on fellows’ practical and strategic needs
- Assist in incorporating flexibility, interactivity and methods for accessibility in the curriculum, aligning with fellowship goals.
- Explore and introduce new technologies that can enhance content delivery and learner engagement.
- Aid in designing, implementing, and managing gamified elements for the online course
In this role, you report to the Learning Experience Quality Lead, and closely collaborate with the Learning and Community Programming Team, the Venture Coaching team and other subject matter experts.
This is what you can expect…
In the first month,you will complete your onboarding, familiarize yourself with beVisioneers’ learning objectives and frameworks, and build collaborative relationships with the Learning Experience Quality Lead, program team, and subject matter experts. Begin assessing existing content and contribute to the design of learning solutions aligned with the fellowship’s multi-year goals.
After three months, you will have contributed to the design, refinement, and launch of Year 1 onboarding and foundational modules for Years 2 and 3. Additionally, you will support the creation of engaging learning materials that incorporate feedback to ensure relevance and practical application for fellows at various stages of their projects.
After six months, you will have launched new modules that address the evolving needs of fellows, iterated on Year 1 content, and collaborated with experts to design and curate programming for Years 2 and 3, ensuring alignment with fellowship goals.
After one year, you will have a strong influence on the scaling and evolution of beVisioneers’ learning programming. Your work will ensure that instructional design practices are fully integrated into the fellowship experience.
About you
To thrive and grow in this role, you will be:
- An experienced instructional designer with deep knowledge of ID principles and a track record of creating interactive, engaging learning experiences that go beyond traditional methods for diverse learners..
- Able to manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Experience in creating storyboards and prototypes to visualize learning experiences before full-scale development.
- Proficient in Learning management systems and Instructional technologies and learning platforms to create interactive and multimedia-rich content (Articulate Rise 360 and Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Vyond…etc)
- Experience in mapping skills and competencies to learning deliverables
- Strong interpersonal and cross-team collaboration skills to build and maintain productive feedback loops
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach to learning design, with a readiness to innovate

- Proficiency with various instructional design principles to pivot and adapt learning solutions based on feedback from fellows and team
- Ability to connect learning activities with real-world applications.
Ideally, you might also have …
- Familiarity with environmental sustainability and venture development concepts and frameworks, with the skill to present multiple learning pathways that cater to various learner needs.
