Thais Corral is a renowned social innovator with more than three decades of experience working with environmental and gender-related issues. She is the founder of REDEH (Network for Human Develoment), CEMINA (Communication, Education and Information) and WEDO (Women’s Environment and Development Organization), and is a pioneer entrepreneur for her work in implementing innovative projects that empower new actors and reinvent paradigms. SINAL do Vale, which was also founded by Thais, represents the synthesis of the experience and knowledge Thais has accumulated over these past decades of work both in Brazil and internationally. She wanted to create a space where inspired change-makers could design, experiment, and implement concrete initiatives for the transition to sustainability.
