Moritz Rudolf is the founder of the consultancy Eurasia Bridges, a fellow within the Research Group “The international rule of law – Rise or Decline?“, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D., with a specific focus on the PRC shaping international law through the Belt and Road Initiative.

He finished his law studies, which he conducted in Heidelberg in 2014 with the first state examination. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Heidelberg obtained in 2010.

Between 2014-2016 Moritz Rudolf has worked at the Mercator Institute for China Studies (MERICS), with a specific focus on China’s legal policy, geopolitical initiatives, and foreign relations.

In addition, he has spent over two years in Beijing, China studying Mandarin.
